Biography
An accomplished New Orleans musician and attorney, McDonald Provosty maintains an active trial and appellate practice both in federal and state courts and has managed numerous cases for trial as both primary and secondary counsel.
Extensively experienced in taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses, McDonald defends claims asserted against public entities, businesses, and their insurers.
His expertise includes claims based on alleged civil rights violations and employment practices as well as personal injury and property damage claims arising out of automobile, business premises, construction, environmental, and industrial accidents.
A native of Alexandria, La., McDonald comes from a long line of distinguished attorneys in central Louisiana, including his late father, Albin, his uncle and his grandfather for the firm that was founded in 1945 and carries the family name of Provosty, Sadler & deLaunay.
