Biography
John M. Rossi. Jr. graduated magna cum laude from the Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. While studying at Loyola, John served as the Managing Editor of the Loyola Law Review and worked as a research assistant for Professor Robert Garda. John’s Comment, No Time for Caution: Ensuring Equity for Transgender Individuals in Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection Challenges, was published in the Gonzaga University Law Review in 2024.
As a member of Loyola’s Advocacy Center, John served as a competitor for Loyola’s Philip C. Jessup International Law and American bar Association National Appellate Advocacy moot court competition teams. During his third year of law school, John served as a student practitioner for the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, providing legal services in the clinic’s Immigration Law section.
John is a native of Matunuck, Rhode Island, where his family resides to this day. In his spare time, John enjoys running, painting, and performing music.
